La band Hayes & Y ha pubblicato la nuova canzone BLUE e il videoclip è stato realizzato con alcune scene del videogame Grand Theft Auto: Vice City della Rockstar North and Rockstar Games.
Il brano è riconoscibile nello stile musicale della band che ha saputo creare negli anni,
e la scelta del videoclip si è dimostrata interessante e molto attuale, visto che ormai i videogames fanno parte della vita quotidiana di molte persone.
Ma per approfondire l’argomento ho intervistato il cantante Blago:
Vorrei chiederti come è stata presa la decisione di unire la canzone BLUE al videogame Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
- La decisione è stata presa dopo che un nostro amico ha suggerito che la traccia sembra essere la colonna sonora del gioco. Ci abbiamo pensato e abbiamo deciso che si adattano davvero bene insieme!
Penso abbiate avuto una buona idea, ho visto le vostre canzoni su Spotify , ne usciranno altre in futuro? e le nuove canzoni faranno parte di un nuovo album?
- Sì, vorremmo pubblicare un’altra traccia il prima possibile!, farà parte di una serie di brani che avranno tutti temi cromatici. Potrebbero portare a un album, ma non è ancora chiaro.
Su quest’ultima canzone BLUE mi puoi raccontare come è stata realizzata, l’ispirazione e sul messaggio?
- È una canzone sulla solitudine e sugli amici immaginari. L’abbiamo registrata a casa, come facciamo con tutte le nostre canzoni. Volevamo creare un brano dance, funky con un tono più scuro.
Nel 2012 sulla scena musicale bulgara e inglese si è affacciata la band Hayes & Y, e da allora hanno pubblicato tre EP ‘heiz ənd wai, The Only Thing Worse Than An Overpriced Bottle Of Water e Sinclair. La band è composta da Il chitarrista Rado, il chitarrista / cantante Blago, il bassista Ivo e dal batterista Dennis Hallbäck e si sono esibiti in molti Festival in Europa.

I would like to ask you how the decision was made to merge the BLUE song with the Grand Theft Auto videogame: Vice City.
- The decision was made, after one of our friends suggested that the track seems to be the soundtrack of the game. We thought about it and decided that they fit really well together!
I think you had a good idea, I saw your songs on Spotify, will others come out in the future? and will the new songs be part of a new album?
- Yes, we would like to publish another track as soon as possible !, will be part of a series of songs that will all have color themes. They could lead to an album, but it is not yet clear.
On this last song BLUE can you tell me how it was made, the inspiration and the message?
- It’s a song about loneliness and imaginary friends. We recorded it at home, as we do with all our songs. We wanted to create a dance song, funky with a darker tone.
