“The New Abnormal”, è il sesto album di The Strokes, è stato registrato allo Shangri-La Studiosin di Malibu ed è stato prodotto da Rick Rubin. La copertina del disco è un dipinto di Jean-Michel Basquiat, Bird on Money. Il primo brano estratto dal disco “At The Door”, è stato presentato dalla band durante la manifestazione organizzata dall’Università del New Hampshire del senatore Bernie Sanders ed è accompagnato da un video diretto da Mike Burakoff .
