Sylvan Esso ha pubblicato una nuova versione del video musicale per “Ferris Wheel“, la traccia principale del loro prossimo album Free Love, in uscita il 25 settembre per Loma Vista Recordings.
Amelia Meath di Sylvan Esso è un’appassionata videogiocatrice (il nome della band è stato ispirato dal videogioco Swords and Sworcery) e, come tanti, è diventata ossessionata dal gioco mentre era in quarantena all’inizio di quest’anno.
Oltre a rifare il video della “Ferris Wheel”, sono state create magliette e cappelli virtuali basati su nuovi design di merchandising Free Love che i giocatori possono scansionare nel gioco per i loro personaggi di Animal Crossing.
Disponibile anche il costume con frange di orpello indossato da Amelia.

Il video originale di “Ferris Wheel“, è stato girato in un parco di divertimenti vuoto, ed è stato pubblicato a luglio insieme all’annuncio del loro attesissimo terzo album. Il mese scorso Amelia ha anche eseguito la canzone dal retro di un camioncino in movimento su Full Frontal con Samantha Bee e la canzone è stata selezionata anche per August Heavy Rotation di NPR. Free Love è stato segnalato come un album autunnale più atteso da Consequence of Sound e anche Uproxx.
