È disponibile in digitale da oggi, venerdì 30 ottobre, “DARK MATTER”, l’album d’esordio di CAMELPHAT, il duo britannico multi-platino candidato al premio Ivor – Novello, composto da Dave Whelan e Mike Di Scala
Inoltre, i Camelphat hanno lanciato il nuovo singolo “Easier”, che vede la partecipazione dei Lowes, band di Lancaster che si sta sempre di più affermando e spicca per la potente voce della frontwoman Evie Plumb. Il brano, caratterizzato da un progressivo crescendo e da un mood malinconico, si preannuncia come uno dei pezzi dance fra i più interessanti del 2020.
“Dark Matter” abbraccia diversi stili e generi musicali, dalla techno dance floor al trip hop, e comprende le hit che hanno reso famoso il duo come “Cola”, “Breathe” e “Panic Room”. Contiene featuring con artisti leggendari del calibro di Noel Gallagher, Jake Bugg, Yannis Philipakkis, Maverick Sabre e brani con Skream, Eli & Fur e Will Easton.

Il duo candidato ai Grammy ha annunciato anche le date del tour nel Regno Unito, che ha già venduto oltre 20.000 biglietti. I Camelphat si esibiranno a Liverpool, Bristol, Glasgow Newcastle e Leeds e concluderanno il tour il 17 aprile alla SSE Arena di Wembley di Londra, diventando il primo duo di musica house a suonare su quell’iconico palco.
Dopo essersi affermati sulla scena musicale grazie ai loro spettacoli dance tra i più richiesti, negli ultimi anni i Camelphat hanno riscosso un enorme successo. Il singolo “Cola” nominato ai Grammy Awards, è stato seguito dalle hit “Hypercolour” con il frontman dei Foals Yannis Philippakis, “Breathe”, “Panic Room” (ft Au / Ra), “Rabbit Hole” e “Be Someone” insieme a Jake Bugg. Il duo è stato costantemente supportato da artisti del calibro di Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Danny Howard e Pete Tong. I Camelphat si sono esibiti anche a prestigiosi festival come Glastonbury, Coachella, Reading e Leeds, Creamfields, Warehouse Project e Parklife.
