Un artista ossessionato dall’intricato mestiere della canzone pop, Daði è uno studente di Eurovision. Si esibirà insieme al gruppo Gagnamagnið – che si traduce come “piano dati”. Nel febbraio 2020, Daði Freyr e Gagnamagnið hanno vinto la selezione nazionale islandese Söngvakeppnin. Erano pronti per eseguire la loro canzone Think About Things all’Eurovision Song Contest nel 2020.

Daði Freyr non vede l’ora di esibirsi sul palco dell’Eurovision:
“Sono molto emozionato. Il motivo per cui ho gareggiato a Söngvakeppnin 2020 era provare a vivere l’Eurovision dall’interno insieme a Gagnamagnið. Abbiamo sempre voluto scoprire fino a che punto potevamo partecipare alla competizione e il prossimo anno non sarà diverso“.
