La superstar multi-platino G-Eazy pubblica il suo attesissimo quarto album in studio, These Things Happen Too tramite BPG/RVG/RCA Records. L’album di 19 tracce mette in mostra l’abilità artistica multiforme di G-Eazy con un corpus di lavori diversificato, ma eclettico, e segna il suo primo disco completo dall’acclamato The Beautiful & Damned del 2017.
These Things Happen Too è il sequel del suo LP di debutto, These Things Happen, e mette in evidenza la crescita di G-Eazy dall’album di debutto del 2014. La tracklist che abbraccia il genere include inni hip-hop incisivi come “Instructions” ft. YG, mentre si appoggia anche alla sfera pop su brani come “Breakdown” ft. Demi Lovato e “Faithful” ft. Marc E. Bassy. L’album lo vede anche collaborare con Matthew Shultz dei Cage the Elephant per la prima volta sulla traccia sincera “Time“, e G-Eazy si avventura sulla strada dei cantautori con un’incredibile cover di “Wicked Game” di Chris Isaak.
G-Eazy ha fatto la sua prima apparizione in assoluto al The Ellen DeGeneres Show, per una chiacchierata e l’esecuzione della sua nuova canzone “Faithful” con Marc E. Bassy. Quindi salirà sul palco del The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon per l’esibizione di debutto televisivo di “Breakdown” con Demi Lovato questo martedì 28 settembre.
G-Eazy è stato visto in tutto il circuito dei festival musicali questo autunno con esibizioni acclamate dalla critica a BottleRock, Summerfest e Common Ground.
