MTV ha annunciato oggi le nomination per gli “MTV EMA 2021”, con il frontrunner Justin Bieber che si è assicurato otto nomination. Le nomination di Bieber includono “Best Artist”, “Best Pop”, due nomination “Best Song” per i suoi successi globali “Peaches” con Daniel Caesar e Giveon e “STAY” con The Kid LAROI, “Best Video” per “Peaches“, ” Best Collaboration” insieme a The Kid LAROI e “Biggest Fans”. Doja Cat e Lil Nas X seguono Bieber con sei nomine ciascuno, entrambi in “Best Song”, “Best Video” e “Best Collaboration”. La superstar globale britannica Ed Sheeran e i nuovi arrivati agli EMA Olivia Rodrigo e The Kid LAROI seguono da vicino con cinque nomination ciascuno, tra cui “Best Pop” e “Best Song” per Sheeran e Rodrigo. Le nomination degli artisti di cui sopra includono anche “Best Local Act” per ciascuno dei rispettivi Paesi di origine.

Gli “MTV EMA 2021” si terranno al Papp László Budapest Sportaréna in Ungheria e saranno trasmessi in diretta sui canali MTV in 180 paesi domenica 14 novembre alle 9:00pm CET.
