Conchita Wurst vi porta in un viaggio musicale attraverso Londra, Leeds, Vienna, Berlino e Amburgo e scopri la giuria composta da Emeli Sandé, Tayla Parx, Yvonne Catterfeld, Jacob Banks, Tom Odell e Tony Visconti e chi hanno scelto come l’atto più promettente del Reeperbahn Festival 2021. “Ero l’anello di congiunzione tra i candidati e la giuria. Non mi divertivo così tanto in una produzione televisiva da molto tempo, perché ero ben preparato avevamo definito una struttura e poi hanno semplicemente filmato come si sono sviluppavte le nostre conversazioni“, afferma Tom Neuwirth, che ora ha acquisito un gusto per il genere dei documentari musicali dopo numerosi spettacoli musicali in prima serata.
Nell’ambito dell’ANCHOR – Reeperbahn Festival International Music Award Show, Conchita Wurst ha eseguito il brano “Bodymorphia“(stripped) appositamente arrangiata per l’esibizione live, sul palco del St. Pauli Theatre.
I candidati per il 2021 erano Florence Arman (GBR), Oska (AUT), Lie Ning (GER), May The Muse (GER), PVA (GBR) e Yard Act (GBR). Il documentario mostra come i candidati hanno trascorso le loro giornate al Reeperbahn Festival 2021 e offre molti spunti sull’ANCHOR.
Fondato nel 2016, l’ANCHOR – Reeperbahn Festival International Music Award è un premio per i giovani musicisti più promettenti. L’ANCHOR viene assegnato ogni anno a settembre durante il Reeperbahn Festival di Amburgo e funge da guida per i fan e l’industria musicale nella loro ricerca della migliore nuova musica e come trampolino di lancio per le carriere internazionali degli artisti nominati.
Il documentario ANCHOR è stato diretto da Eric Demiriz e prodotto da Stefan Beifuß di RedSeven Entertainment GmbH per Inferno Events GmbH & Co KG, Nadine Geisen era la responsabile di produzione e vorremmo ringraziare tutti i soggetti coinvolti per questa collaborazione eccezionalmente piacevole.
