dal nuovo album della cantautrice finlandese
La sensazione artista pop finlandese ALMA ha pubblicato oggi il terzo singolo dal suo prossimo album. Il singolo Summer Really Hurt Us è stato realizzato durante la pandemia nelle sessioni Zoom e completato in Svezia con Elvira Anderfjärd (Taylor Swift, Tove Lo).
L’euforica canzone synthpop affronta il senso di colpa e la vergogna: i testi raccontano di un’estate in cui le cose sono andate terribilmente male.
”Nella canzone ripercorro un periodo di qualche anno fa, quando mi sentivo come se stessi perdendo il controllo. Ho fatto concerti dopo concerti e ho festeggiato molto – quella combinazione non è molto buona. Siamo tutti solo esseri umani e, di fronte alla vita, tendiamo a fare cose che feriscono gli altri oltre a noi stessi. Quell’estate mi ha insegnato che sono davvero fortunata ad avere un grande gruppo di amici intorno a me. Sono sempre lì per me e mi aiutano in ogni caso” dice ALMA.

Durante la sua carriera, la 26enne ALMA è riuscita a collezionare più di 650 milioni di stream globali, diversi singoli d’oro e di platino in tutta Europa e quattro premi Emma gaala. La talentuosa cantautrice è anche riuscita a fare hit per diverse superstar, da Ariana Grande a Miley Cyrus. L’album di debutto di ALMA Have U Seen Her? ha raggiunto il numero uno della classifica degli album finlandesi e il secondo album in uscita l’anno prossimo è attualmente al lavoro da parte dei massimi esperti internazionali, ALMA farà un tour europeo in autunno e si esibirà al club Tavastia di Helsinki a novembre.
