Sulla scia del successo del loro album di debutto It Won’t Always Be Like This, gli artisti di BMG publishing, Inhaler hanno pubblicato il loro attesissimo secondo album in studio Cuts & Bruises con grande successo raggiungendo il primo posto nella classifica ufficiale degli album irlandesi e ottenendo ulteriori le prime 10 posizioni in tutta Europa, tra cui il numero due nel Regno Unito, il numero cinque nei Paesi Bassi e il numero nove in Belgio. L’album è anche l’album più venduto in Irlanda quest’anno.

Prodotto dal collaboratore di lunga data di Inhaler, Antony Genn (Pulp, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, Robbie Williams), Cuts & Bruises contiene 11 tracce tra cui la recente pubblicazione “If You’re Gonna Break My Heart“, l’edificante “Love Will Get You” il brano della scorsa estate, ‘These Are The Days‘.

Dopo un tour di successo nel Regno Unito e in Irlanda nel 2021, Inhaler ha iniziato a registrare Cuts & Bruises al The Nunnery, la sala prove nella loro città natale, Dublino.
“Gli argomenti delle canzoni sono ancora incentrati sul raggiungimento della maggiore età – le cose standard che scrivi quando sei un adolescente“, aggiunge Elijah Hewson, cantante, chitarrista e paroliere principale della band. “Ma è diventato anche un po’ di più sull’essere in una band. Queste canzoni parlano meno del mondo che ci circonda e più di ciò che accade all’interno di Inhaler.”
Gli Inhaler si sono formati mentre erano ancora a scuola a Dublino, legandosi all’amore per Joy Division, The Stone Roses, Kings Of Leon, The Strokes, Interpol, The Cure e altri.
La band è composta dal cantante e chitarrista Elijah Hewson, dal bassista Robert Keating, dal chitarrista Josh Jenkinson e dal batterista Ryan McMahon.
In vista dell’estate, la band si unirà agli Arctic Monkeys nel loro tour europeo prima di suonare i loro più grandi spettacoli nel Regno Unito fino ad oggi il 19 e 20 maggio rispettivamente al Victoria Warehouse di Manchester e alla Brixton Academy di Londra.
