Nel maggio 2013, BMG ha annunciato l’acquisizione di selezionati cataloghi di pubblicazioni musicali, inclusi i diritti mondiali per Virgin Music Publishing Companies, Famous UK Music Publishing e autori selezionati di Sony / ATV ed EMI Music Publishing. L’aggiunta di questi cataloghi ha segnato un periodo nella storia di BMG di rapida crescita ed espansione in seguito alle acquisizioni di Crosstown, Stage Three, Chrysalis, Bug, Cherry Lane ed Evergreen, con il risultato che BMG è diventata la casa dei diritti di quasi un milione di canzoni e registrazioni.
