I Puuluup tornano su questo blog dopo averli scoperti per caso nel 2018 durante le mie ricerche su internet. Al Festival della canzone baltica Eesti Laul ben 10 canzoni hanno gareggiato per la vittoria.

Le votazioni di 10 canzoni è stata effettuata sia tramite un voto del pubblico che tramite un voto della giuria internazionale, fino alla Top 3, che ha portato 3 canzoni in una “superfinale”. I pochi selezionati sono stati My Friend di OLLIE, Käte ümber jää di Nele-Liis Vaiksoo e i vincitori finali (Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi di 5Miinust e Puuluup.

Puuluup è composto da due musicisti: Ramo Teder (come artista solista nei Pastacas ) e Marko Veisson (che è anche antropologo e conferenziere). Il loro primo album ” Syüta mu lumi ” è stato pubblicato nella primavera del 2018, il doppio singolo ” Kasekesed / Käpapuu ” è stato pubblicato su vinile da 7 pollici nella primavera del 2020.
